Home Pet Sitter / Dog Walker Cary, North Carolina
Vacation Visits/Home Pet Sitting Fees
  • Vacation visit base rate is $23.00 per visit for up to 30 minutes, for up to 2 pets.

  • There is a fee of $3.00 each, for more than 2 animals in one household.

  • If in one household, are pets from two different households, different Vets, etc., you are charged as if in two different houses. Make sense? We'll talk about it...

  • If you are interviewing, you are charged the same amount as a visit, $23.00, to be paid at that time.  If you should decide to hire me, that amount is deducted from your bill. I will come back to your home, at that time, no charge, to pick up key, payment, and tie up loose ends.

  • I do NOT charge for pilling or insulin injections.

  • MAJOR HOLIDAYS are $5.00 more per visit, except Christmas Day. Christmas Day is plus $10.00 per visit.

What I will not do:
I do not do every other day visits. Please do not ask. It is not a good idea to have your cat alone or unattended for extended lenghts of time.Things can happen unexpectedly and very quickly.  All cats & other smaller critters in my care must be seen at least once a day. I am not comfortable with leaving a pet alone for 24 hours. I care too much about these pets to take any chances.
A specific time of arrival is not guaranteed. I will ask what your preferred time is; however, I work alone, and I cannot guarantee a specific time of arrival to your home. Pets that are on medication get first priority. I allow a 30 minutes interval of time for arriving to each client's home. This constraint is in place to allow for the care of unavoidable circumstances that may arise at another client's home and/or difficulty in travel
Cats & other critters (fish, birds, hamsters, etc.) will be visited at approximately the same time each day sometime between 10AM and 4PM depending on my schedule, location of other jobs and weather conditions. Animals on medication, always receive top priority.

DOGS are a minimum of 3 visits per day. AM - Mid - PM.

Crated DOGS a minimum of 4 visits per day. AM - Mid- Dinner- PM

**Critter Sitter of Cary has the right to refuse service due to safety concerns.

The "over-night" service includes your PM (late night visit) & your AM (early morning visit). Any other visits for that day (mid-day/dinner) are billed at the rate of $20.00 per visit (up to 30 minutes) for up to two animals.

The price for this service is $75 per night. (Includes your early AM & late PM visit)

The rates listed above are for up to two (2) Dogs, each additional dog is $10 per day.

There is no additional charge for cats or other small pocket pets or fish in the home.

I do not offer these services over the holidays, due to being very busy with pet sitting.

"Nina was referred to me by my neighbor, who has been using Nina's services since 2009, for her 4 huge dogs. That was in 2012, and we have been using Nina exclusively as our pet sitter for our two dogs since. Both dogs are on medicine with a complicated schedule. She's always on time and I feel comfortable with the care she provides. One of our dogs has epilepsy, so it's possible he could have a seizure at any time. Because of that we have Nina stay at our home overnight when we are away. We trust her completely with the care of our furbabies and to watch our home. Not only does she take great care of them, but she also offers me tips on food and treats that might be good for them. She's quick to respond to our pet sitting requests and available by text when I need her or have a question while we are away. It might not be hard to find someone who likes dogs, but to find someone who loves our pups as much as we do, and can offer them the same quality of care that we give them isn't as easy. We are grateful for Nina and would recommend her to anyone in need of an amazing and trustworthy pet sitter!"

"Nina has been walking my dogs for about a year.

I could not recommend her more highly if you need someone you can trust with your pets and home.  Having Nina come see them is more like having a friend or family member over than a pet sitter.  My dogs adore her and I know she treats them like they are her own.  She is also wonderful at listening to instructions so you can be sure that things are done in a way you like.  She is extremely responsible alerting me to potential concerns with my pets or home.  She's always willing to go the extra step to help for which I am extremely grateful.  The best part is that only Nina comes to your home and not a stream of unknown individuals.  Her rates are reasonable, she is reliable and a kind, wonderful woman.  Don't hesitate to trust her with your pets!"
